Avlangrud is located in the town in the open-air museum.

Step inside and experience shopping the way it used to be – over the counter, with a welcoming atmosphere and plenty of delightful products to discover. Perhaps you will find that perfect gift?

We offer a wide selection of local foods from producers in the surrounding area. You will find coffee, tea, cured meats, cheese, spices, jam, and juice, among other treats.

Avlangrud also features carefully selected products from abroad, just as it did when it was a well-stocked grocery store in downtown Lillehammer. Our range includes chutney, pesto, and marinated olives.

Don’t forget to visit the Maihaugen Shop inside the visitor center as well.
