In the summer you can see Maihaugen's animals out in the fields in the open-air museum.
There are many animals at Maihaugen, such as horses, cows, sheep, goats, pigs and hens.
The sheep are outdoors all year round, while the other animals are out grazing in the open-air museum in the summer until the autumn holidays in mid October (if the weather allows).
The animals are moved from field to field in the open-air museum in the summer. In the visitor center you can ask where to find the different animals the day of your visit.
