Welcome to Mrs. Bye's home in Olsengården.

Here, you can experience the daily life of a working-class wife from Lillehammer in the 1930s. Laundry and cooking take up much of Mrs. Bye's time, but she also enjoys keeping up with the latest gossip in her looking glass. From mid-June, you can also meet Mr. Bye, who keeps busy with a bit of everything – from the blacksmith’s forge and the carpentry workshop to the kitchen garden.
