At Maihaugen you can wander through living historical settings in the open-air museum.
In The rural section you will find farmsteads from the 18th and 19th centuries, and the mountain pasture hamlet lies beautifully in the landscape.
The residential area presents homes from the
decades of the 20th century, and in The town you will discover townhouses that reflect a typical inland town. Indoors, several cultural history exhibitions await you.
