Join a guided tour of our Christmas-decorated homes in the Residential Area and discover how people decorated their homes and celebrated Christmas during the 20th century.
We will visit several fascinating houses, including Queen Sonja’s childhood home. Along the way, you will discover how Christmas traditions changed throughout the 20th century.
Information regarding booking will be available soon.
- Duration: 30 minutes.
- Max. 15 persons per tour.
- Meeting point: The market place (Torget) in the Town.
- Show receipt upon arrival in the museum shop.

5–20 December:
Saturdays and Sundays at 2 pm (English) and 3 pm (Norwegian)
26 December–3 January:
Every day* at 2 pm (English) and 3 pm (Norwegian)
*Closed on 28 December, 31 December and 1 January.
