During the holiday season you can join us for two different tours in the open air-museum:
How was Christmas celebrated in the 20th century? This tour explores how decorations and traditions evolved throughout the century — what people ate, and which sweets and treats were most popular.
See the schedule below and book your ticket in advance to secure your place! (Ticket link coming soon.)

Tour times 22 December–13 January

Join us for a walk through the houses in the Rural Area decorated for Christmas! Discover how Christmas was celebrated in the Middle Ages, why we exchange gifts, and who the Christmas gnome really is. The tour takes you inside Årestua, the Parsonage and Øygarden.
