«You have presented to the entire world – the best Olympic Winter Games ever!”

These were the words spoken by IOC President Juan Antonio Samaranch during the closing ceremony of the Lillehammer Olympics—just over 30 years ago. And he was absolutely right.

The Lillehammer Winter Olympics in 1994 were, for the world, a legendary and well-organized event; for Norway, a 16-day celebration of remarkable athletic achievements; and for the Lillehammer region, a giant leap forward in development and future opportunities.

Join a guided tour of Norway's Olympic Museum, where you'll learn about "The best Olympic Winter Games ever"—and hear captivating stories from before, during, and after the games.

  • Duration: approximately 20 minutes.
  • In English.
  • Pre-registration required to secure your spot. Maximum 20 participants.
