Falkenberg
The store's interior dates back to the early 1900s and originally belonged to the Falkenberg store, located on Jerbanegata in Lillehammer.
Johan Falkenberg took over a tannery at Vingnes in Lillehammer in 1902. At the same time, he opened a shop just above the railway station, on Jernbanegata. Here, trade in hides, leather goods, harnesses, and shoemaking supplies took place.
This business operated from 1902 to 1988.
On certain occasions, the store is open to the visitors of the museum. During these times, we sell beautiful decorations, home accessories, and high-quality toys, allowing you to make a nostalgic purchase over the old shop counter.
